The Buddha-Haus is a renovated farm house which lies remotely embedded in the foothills of the Allgäu Alps, about 130 kilometers southwest of Munich.

During the year, numerous meditation classes for beginners and advanced participants take place here. They are led by experienced teachers from different schools of Buddhism, mostly from long-standing students of Ayya Khema.

Besides classes, there are open meditation evenings on Wednesday, to which everyone is welcome.
Wednesday evening: 18:00 to 20:00, led by the Ven. Nyanabodhi.

The administration of the Buddha-Haus Projects and the center for the distribution of materials are located in the Buddha-Haus. In the shop, one can purchase meditation articles and Buddhist books, as well as DVDs, CDs, and video and audio tapes by Ayya Khema.

The garden of the Buddha-Haus is a special place because the stupa with the ashes of the Ven. Ayya Khema is located there. Many people perceive this place as a pilgrimage site.
